In Mijas you will find many nice and cozy restaurants. The narrow streets, the donkey-taxi, the fortress and the many shops and bars belongs to Mijas Pueblo.

Mijas is located in the Spanish province of Malaga in Andalucia, the Costa del Sol with a total area of 149 km ². The town borders are the Mediterranean Sea and the municipalities Fuengirola, Benalmádena, Alhaurín de la Torre, Alhaurín el Grande, Marbella, Ojen and Coín.
It has five urban centers: Mijas Pueblo in the mountains, in Las Lagunas Mijas Costa, the coastal towns of La Cala, Riviera and Calahonda, the coastline is about 12 km long.
Mijas Pueblo is a pueblo blanco (white village) in the famous Andalusian route and a tourist attraction.
Despite being a popular destination, Mijas has managed to preserve its original character with its traditional houses and beautiful narrow cobbled streets. You can hear the donkeys with the bells around their neck.
The Virgin de la Peña Chapel in Mijas is definitely something you should not miss. This chapel is carved from rock and is a major pilgrimage site by an apparition of Mary.
From here you have a fantastic view.
The village has a wide choice of restaurants and tapas bars.
Several museums and the only square arena with oval ring in Spain invite you to visit. Every Wednesday there is a flamenco show at the square in Mijas and every Sunday in the summer there are bull fights.
Each month there is a feria on the Costa del Sol, you must visit one.
Mijas is located about 5 km inland at over 400 m above sea level. Our finca is located at a few minutes drive to the town center.
The climate is mild because of Mijas location at the sea, without excessive heat in the summer or cold in the winter.
